One of Africa’s biggest artistes, Wizkid has emerged winner of the “Best Music Video” category at the 63rd Grammys award.
This is for his feature in Beyoncé‘s track, ‘Brown skin girl’ making it Starboy’s first-ever Grammy award.
The recording academy made the announcement via their official page on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
“Congrats Best Music Video winner – ‘BROWN SKIN GIRL’ @Beyonce #BlueIvy @wizkidayo
Sparkles #GRAMMYs,” it wrote.
This is indeed a big win for Wizkid, his fans and Nigeria’s entertainment industry as a whole.
