₦400,000 cash paid for 20 bags of rice allegedly turns to paper in Delta State (video)

A viral video has captured the moment the sum of ₦400,000 cash paid for 20 bags of rice from a shop in Ogwashi-Uku area of Delta State, reportedly turned into paper.

According to an eyewitness who shared the video online, a man approached a rice trader in the market, bought 20 bags of rice from her and paid the woman ₦400,000 cash.

The eyewitness alleged that the buyer left with the bags of rice in a white Sienna SUV after paying.

However, moments after he left the shop, while the woman wanted to go deposit the money in the bank she realized the money has turned to paper.

This is coming after a Young Man identified as Davison Osagie was arrested after showing off a Car he bought with a fake bank transfer alert.

The young man fraudulently sent a fake bank alert and decided to show off his loot on his social media page.

He shared photos on Facebook page congratulating himself and his friends had cheered him on without knowing the impending doom.

Luck however ran out on Osagie after the management of the car shop declared him wanted after realizing they had been swindled.
